QA Automation Engineer (Python)

Andersen is hiring a QA Automation Engineer (Python) for a project expanding digital banking savings products and ensuring reliable customer onboarding and account management.

The customer is a UK-based financial services provider specializing in digital banking solutions. Operating on a fully cloud-based platform, the company offers a range of innovative products, including savings accounts, loans, and mortgages, designed to cater to specific customer needs. With a strong focus on simplicity, agility, and customer-centric design, they aim to modernize the banking experience. The company is regulated by the UK’s financial authorities and has earned recognition for its innovative approach in the financial services sector.

The project is focused on expanding a bank’s savings product offering by enabling customer onboarding and management of various savings accounts through the Mambu core banking platform. It aims to improve product flexibility, strengthen market competitiveness, attract new customers, and increase bank liquidity to support the growth of mortgage lending services.

Responsibilities:

• Designing automation in alignment with current principles.
• Creating the Page Object Model.
• Creating test scenarios in Xray.
• Creating automated tests for both Android and iOS.
• Integrating with the device farm.
• Automating evidence uploads to Xray.
• Reporting on project progress.

Must-haves:

• Experience in test automation using Python for 4+ years.
• Experience in Appium.
• Experience in Retail Banking.
• Experience with various aspects of systems testing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of software testing process, methodology and good practices.
• Good understanding of testing methodologies and their application within an agile delivery framework.
• Ability to draw in and coordinate resources from across the business in order to address issues.
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with senior management, colleagues, and across the business.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, both internally and externally.
• Works in partnership to achieve goals.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
