Middle Accountant

About the team

We're a hands-on accounting team that keeps the numbers accurate and the deadlines met. Everyone owns their area — from daily entries and reconciliations to payroll and reporting — but we come together when it counts: monthly closings, audits, and financial statements. If you're detail-driven, work well independently, and want to be part of a team that keeps the financial engine running — you'll fit right in.

Responsibilities

• Daily posting of accounting entries

• Preparation, maintenance, and control of accounting documents (invoices, delivery notes, contracts)

• Monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts

• Monitoring compliance with internal policies

• Calculation of salaries, vacation pay, and business trip expenses

• Participation in the preparation of financial statements

• Participation in the audit process

What makes you the perfect fit

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position

• Experience of working with Russian individual entrepreneurs under the legislation of the Russian Federation.

• Experience with international payments

• Knowledge of Georgian - you can read and write in Georgian

• Knowledge of Russian - you can speak Russian fluently, read and write in Russian

• Knowledge of English - you can read and write in English

• Knowledge of IFRS standards

• Basic knowledge of Georgian tax legislation

• Proficiency in Excel and the Balance accounting software

• Ability to work independently

• Attention to detail and responsibility

Will be a plus

• Experience in audit

• Experience of working with several accountant solutions (we use NetSuite)
