An international group with established offices in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan is seeking four full-time Close Protection Officers. All four positions carry the same responsibilities and employment conditions.
The employment base for this position is Amman, Jordan. The role requires extended international assignments across Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan.
Depending on operational requirements, employees may be assigned to another group location for extended periods, potentially for several months at a time. Assignments may follow one another directly, and employees may move from one international location to another without returning to Dubai in between.
The sequence and duration of assignments will depend on operational requirements. Candidates should therefore be comfortable with a highly mobile international working arrangement and extended periods.
This is a low-risk private security environment with high professional standards. The role is focused on the discreet protection, personal safety, and security of the Chairman and designated members of the accompanying party during daily activities, scheduled engagements, and international assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Providing discreet close protection and personal security;
- Accompanying the Chairman during daily activities, meetings, events, and international assignments;
- Conducting security and risk assessments of locations, venues, and travel routes;
- Coordinating secure transportation and movements;
- Maintaining a high level of situational awareness and responding appropriately to security concerns;
- Supporting security arrangements across the group’s international locations;
- Working closely with other members of the security and personal support team;
- Maintaining strict confidentiality, discretion, and professional conduct at all times.
Requirements:
- Relevant professional experience in close protection, private security, military service, law enforcement, or a comparable field;
- Fluent English;
- Professional close-protection or recognised security training is highly preferred;
- Ability to perform the essential physical and operational duties of the position;
- Strong situational awareness, sound judgement, and attention to detail;
- Calm, disciplined, responsible, and professional conduct;
- Strong communication skills appropriate to a client-facing security role;
- A valid passport suitable for frequent international travel;
- Ability to obtain and maintain any visas, work authorisations, residence permits, or entry permissions legally required for assignments in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan;
- Willingness and ability to undertake extended international assignments across all four group locations;
- Willingness to live and work outside Jordan for extended periods, potentially several months at a time;
- Flexibility to move directly from one international assignment to another when required;
- Flexibility to work as part of an international security team and adapt to changing operational schedules.

This is not a high-threat assignment. However, the role requires a consistently high level of professionalism, discipline, discretion, situational awareness, reliability, and attention to detail.
