The Role:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Mid Automation Test Engineer to join our team to work directly on our Customer’s gaming project. Reporting to the Lead Automation Engineer / Test Automation Manager, you will help build, maintain, and improve the automated framework across the Customer's portfolio of applications.
- In this role, you will focus on quality engineering best practices, learn from cross-functional teams, develop automated test suites, and support the integration of automation processes into CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:

Automation Development & Maintenance: Design, write, and maintain automated test cases using industry-leading frameworks and tools.

Defect Analysis & Investigation: Analyze test results, identify defects, investigate test failures efficiently, and provide detailed reports and timely feedback to technology teams and stakeholders.

Code Reviews & Best Practices: Participate in regular code reviews and adopt best practices in coding, automation design, and quality engineering.

CI/CD & Agile Ceremonies: Support the integration of automation suites into CI/CD processes and actively participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with development and QA teams to clarify project requirements, ensure adequate test coverage, and contribute to team documentation and knowledge bases.
Skills / Experience:

Automation Experience: Practical experience automating tests with tools such as Selenium, Appium, GameBench, TestComplete, or similar.

Programming & Scripting: Essential programming and scripting skills (Java).

Agile Methodologies: Clear understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and iterative software development lifecycle.

QA Tools: Basic experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).

Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
