Senior Mobile Developer (React Native)

We have 30 years of expertise in designing and building custom software systems. We provide software development services focusing on complex high-load applications, AI and BI solutions, and mobile apps.

This is a remote position open to candidates working from any location except Russia and Belarus.

Working hours: Central European Time (CET/CEST).

We are looking for an experienced mobile engineer who enjoys building products from the ground up, takes ownership of technical decisions, and is comfortable working in a modern, AI-assisted development environment.
Our client is a global company in the education and language-learning industry, developing a new generation of its digital learning platform.
The project is a mobile application designed to provide users with a modern learning experience combining digital content, interactive learning features and AI-powered capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and ship new iOS and Android features using React Native, Expo and TypeScript.
• Design and maintain a clean, modular mobile architecture and ensure high code quality through automated testing and code reviews.
• Own the mobile release process, including signed builds, versioning, testing and production releases.
• Collaborate with engineers and product stakeholders while using AI coding tools such as Claude Code as part of your daily workflow.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years professional mobile dev, shipped production apps to real users (React Native or native iOS/Android).
• Proven architecture discipline — Clean Architecture, MVVM, or equivalent modular design (framework-agnostic requirement).
• Testing discipline — automated unit, UI, or snapshot tests in a shipped codebase.
• Hands-on release engineering — signed builds, versioning, TestFlight/Play internal tracks, staged rollout.
• GitHub fluency — PRs, code review, working in parallel with other engineers.
• Comfortable using AI coding tools (Claude Code or equivalent) daily, not occasionally.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• English level: B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or higher.

Nice to Have

• Production React Native on Expo managed workflow, incl. New Architecture.
• iOS/Android code signing, shared design-system consumption, client-side state management patterns.
