Lead AI & Data Scientist

Andersen is hiring a Lead AI & Data Scientist for a project developing AI-powered digital banking solutions and personalized financial services on a cloud-native platform.

The customer is a mobile-only digital bank offering modern financial services through an app-based experience. The organization provides features such as virtual cards, multi-currency accounts, savings tools, and goal-based financial planning, along with innovative products that support personal and group savings. Known for its user-centric approach and continuous product innovation, the bank has received industry recognition for digital excellence and customer experience.

The project is a cloud-native, mobile-only digital banking platform delivering AI-driven and highly personalized financial services. The solution continuously expands with new modules and market growth while enhancing user experience, automation, and innovative everyday banking capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Defining and driving enterprise AI architecture and model strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Overseeing end-to-end model lifecycle (design, development, evaluation, deployment).
• Ensuring orchestration of multi-agent AI systems across use cases.
• Establishing AI governance framework, standards, and Responsible AI practices.
• Collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to prioritize AI initiatives.

Must-haves:

• Experience in Data Science / AI, including leadership experience, for 5+ years.
• Experience in banking/fintech (credit scoring, fraud, personalization).
• Strong background in ML/AI architecture and production-grade model delivery.
• Hands-on experience with model lifecycle management and MLOps practices.
• Experience designing scalable AI platforms (multi-use case environment).
• Knowledge of Responsible AI, model governance, and risk management.
• Strong stakeholder management and strategic alignment skills.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice to haves:

• Exposure to GenAI/LLM and agent-based architectures.
• Cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure) with AI/ML services.
• Experience leading distributed or cross-functional teams.
