The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Frontend Developer (React) to join its team on a project in the field of Gaming.
The customer is a leading video game developer, publisher, and esports tournament organizer. They are known for creating highly engaging games and fostering a global community of players. The project involves developing and supporting highly engaging video games, focusing on delivering exceptional player experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining web applications using React and Next.js with an emphasis on performance and user experience.
- Collaborating with designers, product managers, and back-end engineers to ship new features and enhancements on schedule.
- Implementing localization techniques and tools (e.g., i18n libraries, translation management) for multi-language support and right-to-left layouts.
- Configuring and implementing headless CMS solutions using Sanity.io.
- Implementing and configuring Redux for state management.
- Packaging and containerizing platforms for best performance. Adjusting Dockerfiles and settings for seamless integration with CI/CD solutions like AWS CodePipeline or Jenkins.
- Extensively using git version control in a multi-team environment.
- Writing clean, maintainable code and following best practices in documentation and testing.
- Participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups in a high-demand, fast-paced environment.
- Adapting to flexible and random working hours across multiple time zones when required.
Must-haves:
- Experience with modern front-end technologies, particularly React and Next.js for 4+ years.
- Strong Agile development mindset and experience.
- Experience with tools like Jira and Trello is a must.
- Solid expertise in Redux for complex state management, and proficient use of Redis.
- Proven experience with large-scale, multi-language localization efforts and RTL layouts.
- Deep understanding of Sanity.io or similar headless CMS architectures.
- Familiarity with Docker for containerizing and deploying front-end applications.
- Strong grasp of Git best practices (branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews).
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, focused on collaborative problem-solving.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
