Within my role at ALE Heavylift I was responsible for managing and developing the finance team, from accounting to controlling function, in line with standards and procedures to support and advise management to optimize the short-mid-term financial results of the local business. Below are some of the key responsibilities I bore during my tenure with this company:  Financial Control: initiation, planning and coordination the local financial planning and budgeting process  Compliance: monitoring and ensuring local compliance for financial administration in line with internal and external regulations  Accounting: coordination of all day-to-day accounting processes in line with local legislation and standards  Reporting: preparation of all periodical cost reports, trial balances, balance sheets, P&L statements, statistic and tax reports required by the local authorities  Year plan & budget: developing, managing and ensuring realization of year plan/budget for the finance department  People Management: managing, coaching, appraising and developing young talent, to ensure personnel (succession) planning in line with relevant policies and procedures

 The next phase of my career development that span over a period of eight years was fully dedicated to perfecting my hard skills within the accounting and finance administration fields, as well as gaining a management experience that encompassed such important elements as Ethics, Risk Management and Compliance.  In both positions reference above provided direction, training, and evaluation to a staff of accountants and accounting assistants, was responsible for the review and analysis of the accounting groups performance from an efficiency and performance standpoint, implementing my detailed knowledge of work processes and internal controls. I have assisted the senior management in understanding and communicating accounting issues and challenges / changes.  I have supervised the financial statement closing process on a monthly and quarterly basis for the assigned organization, as well as reviewed and approved accounting reconciliations.  I have developed, established, and continuously improved financial procedures and reporting for internal and external users and customers.  I have provided the key linkage between the assigned area and the planning process and contributed to the control of the business units I was assigned to in both companies.
