Witness and monitor contractors welding activities, inspection and test in accordance with the approved Quality Plan, ITP, Quality precudures and etc. • Maintains pipe stencil information, including wall thickness, grade and heat numbers and ensures that such information is recorded for any pipe joint that is cut. • Monitor the weld preparation, welding process and NDT as per ITP. • Control storage and certificates of consumables. • Witnessing of welder qualification tests and procedures qualification testing. • Monitor Pre-heat and PWHT. • Checking heat-input. • Verify that all surfaces are in suitable condition for coating activities. • Perform adhesion testing, salt test, dust test, DFT, profile of blasted surface as per ITP. • Coordinate the issue of non-conformance reports through the site QC manager.

- Prior to start of painting and insulation activities ensure that all procedures and material data sheets for compliance with project specifications and practical site operational requirements are reviewed - Ensure all quality control checks and tests are instigated, with records maintained and available as required for surface preparation, dry film thickness checks, adhesion test, temperature and humidity levels etc., all in accordance with contractors’ agreed ITP, method statements and project specifications. Where applicable supervise paint shop activities - Ensure all approved modifications and corrections to the Piping Line List paint and insulation codes are recorded on red-lined ‘as-built’ Line Lists verified as correct by field personnel - Coordination of work front between other departments as per project control requirement. - Weekly and monthly reporting to direct line manager the reason of any delay. - Examine and inspect work progress, equipment to verify safety and ensure that specifications were met. - Supervise of all contractor’s coating construction progress.

• Thorough understanding of work scope, work load and project specification related to Painting work. • Allocate work and specify responsibilities for accountability of assigned task and evaluation of performance. • Follows plans and strategies for work plan for the Painting discipline based on the overall project execution plan and strategy. • Monitor overall work schedule and resource mobilization plan for Painting work based on work front (drawing and material release) plan in association with project control. • Implement three week look ahead schedule with inputs from Project Control Department and draw up final weekly execution plan for Painting work. • Review work front, progress and resource deployment against plan on weekly basis with Subcontractors for timely completion of work against schedule. Identify potential threats to safety, quality and progress of work; recommend mitigating measures to site management and follow up for action. • Monitors progress of prefabrication and erection works and reports to Lead Supervisor on a daily basis. • Coordinate with Supervisor of other disciplines at the project site and Lead Supervisor to review work interfaces at field to minimize hold on work. • Preparation/implementation of Method Statement, Job hazard analysis, risk assessment and mitigation plan in consultation with HSSE team for key Painting activities. • Frequently assess Subcontractors' work performance and quality standards to meet the project specification and arrange technical workshop for supervisors and Tool-Box talk for workmen for competency development. • Supervise and guide Subcontractor's Painting Supervisors for timely and accurate work • Execution. Ensure that all the work activities are completed as per the quality norms and as per project specifications. • Supervise preparation and painting of erected works on site. • Checks conformity with Painting Specification. Checks conformity of Painting supports with typical drawings. • Daily coordinates with QC Painting Inspectors. • Ensures that Painting materials are stored and maintained in adequate conditions. Monitors the management of Painting materials and spare parts. • Ensures routine good housekeeping is performed on site by Contractor. • Responsible for establishing, promoting and maintaining a safe and hazard free working environment. • Carry out any other duties as and when required by the supervisor.

• Submitting the RFI (Request for Inspection) to the client inspector. • Review the RFI of Request for Inspection and also the attach document paper.
