• Managing inbounding activities related to the receipt and storage of goods, inventory management and clams; • Overseeing outbound activities related to order filling, stock replenishment and transportation; • Setting minimum reorder points of items in stock to prevent disruption; • Providing training, guidance and supervision to all warehouse personnel in order to achieve efficiency and speed of delivery; • Developing policies and procedures governing effective and efficient materials handling and safety program in the warehouse; • Minimizing “dead stock” (as opposed to insurance stock) through assiduous monitoring of inventory movement and regular discussions with end-user.
